| Yes! And I am so excited! Hubby cleaned out the garden beds a couple of days ago. We even talked about hosting family Easter and pressure-washing the porch. YES! New for me this year will be spending Easter Day with a GRANDchild. And yes, she is indeed grand (I am not biased lol). I’m quite sure she will not understand hunting an Easter Egg yet, but that is what the early years are about, right? Training! HA! And of course, lots of love. I can’t wait to hug her again. Welcome to new subscribers! I see there were over 300 added this month to my newsletter and this makes me happy. I appreciate you. In fact, an agent I recently met with said my “platform” needs to be bigger to move forward and you are a big part of this, so thank you. NEWS & NEW STUFF! Nomination-I woke up this morning to see that Hope PYX Global, a survivor organization focused on healing for survivors of human trafficking, domestic abuse and sexual assault, has nominated “Innocent Lives: Guardians of Grace, Book 1” for an International Book Award. I’m excited about it and grateful that “God’s Book” is getting some recognition from those in the industry as I seek to increase awarenesss, education and healing.They do also take social media reaction into play when deciding the winners. Speaking and Events– My speaking opportunities have increased and I have one on May 12th (Calvary McMinnville– All ladies invited!) and one on May 20th. I will also be teaching two classes at a writer’s conference in September. I continue to be a guest on podcasts, etc. See my schedule here. Abuse Resources- As I speak on the subject, am still an Advocate, remain a facilitator of a local Survivors Group for the FJC and continue to lead recovery groups part-time for ARMS, people often request resources. So new on my website is a page with some good information. Feel free to read it and/or pass it on to anyone who might be in need. I recognize that this was mostly NEWS, and that some of you might be looking for more of my short writing. I will be including more writing in future posts.
